Drawing Tiger with Korean traditional folk painting. (by Nho yong-sik)
The tiger in Korean traditional folk painting is a little funny. Because, long time ago, there were many victims by tigers in Korea, reflecting the psychology to overcome the fear.
In this folk painting, artist use two brushes. One is for coloring, another one is for gradation.
The paints used were made of natural pigments, called ‘Suganbunchae’.
it may seem strange painting process, but I wish this video could be fun for you.
Have a good time and please pay me a lot of attention and subscription. Thank you.
